The Senior Pastor of the Works word of God Church, Olabisi Gabriel Adegboye warns Buhari’s government over the attack on Sunday Igboho, a popular Yoruba activist.
Pastor Adegboye gave the warning in a post on his Facebook page on Wednesday. He stated that the Nigerian government and security agencies cannot justify the attack on Sunday Igboho’s home.
He [Igboho] held rallies in Osogbo, Ibadan, Ogun, Ondo, and Ado Ekiti without any breaking down of law and no casualty whatsoever at any time. He claimed to be defending his people against rape, murder and destruction of their farm and vegetations.
To proof this, when he heard that DSS and Soldiers were in his compound, he retreated, withdrew himself to avoid confrontation with law enforcement agents of the Country.
I want the government of the Federation to always justify it’s action before descending on any Citizen of your Country.

“Why DSS, why? Alfa Gumi that is giving covering and interacting with the bandits is yet to be arrested.
“Wakili the terrorist, who was arrested by members of the OPC has not yet been brought to justice nor his house attacked by the DSS.
“I know prevention is better than cure, yet the measure taken was anti-Democratic invasion. Let the dog sleep my dear DSS.

“I suggest giving a sound of warning through Yoruba opinion leaders and their royal fathers before launching an attack on someone who peacefully represents the Yoruba race. May God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria. God bless His Excellency.
“Let peace reign in Nigeria and stop using violence to correct your citizens.
Whatever the reason behind this attack, it is not comely enough to result in manhandling of human in this way.

Sunday Igboho was reportedly arrested in Cotonou, Benin Republic on Monday night and the Federal Government of Nigeria has been battling to return him back to the country.
