#ENDSARS: Buhari Issues Out A Restrain Order

What started as a peaceful protests against the brutality of the Special Anti-robbery Squad (SARS) of the Nigerian Police Force, has erupted into a nationwide protests from various youths who have at one time or the other has being assaulted by the dreaded SARS Officers.

After so many failed attempt by the concerned youth for the Government to come to their aid and scrap the Squad proved abortive, they all took to the street with their placard to convey their feelings to the Federal Government.

A week into the peaceful protests, some unknown thugs hijacked the protests using it to cause mayhem and unleash terrors on Civilians and Law Enforcement Officers alike, from vandalizing of public properties, looting and sexual harassment on unsuspecting females.

Various reports of this daily atrocities has now prompted the Federal Government to issue out an address against any large gathering of any sort till further notice. The address was delivered by President Muhammadu Buhari on the 26th of October 2020, as expected the news was received with a great uproar.

President Buhari ended the address with a stern warning that defaulters of the order will be duly prosecuted in the Court of Law.
